Lithographic printing is the most commonly used of the printing processes. Whether it's stationery, a magazine, a brochure or catalogue, some tickets, a flyer, CD covers or junk mail, there is a good chance it has been litho printed.
Sheet fed lithographic printing uses paper sizes usually ranging from SRA3 to B1 and can range from one print head adding just a single colour in one pass to 6 colour heads for printing CMYK and 2 spot colours or a seal or varnish in a single pass. This process is most cost effective for print rune above 2000 for flyers and 5000 for multi page brochures.
Web press printing. This process is similar to sheet fed printing but the paper is fed into the press from a continuous roll. It is most commonly used for large run items where the quality is not as important as the quantity. Newspapers and lower quality supplements and catalogues are printed using this process.
